Army paratrooper badge – C.E. Juncker, Berlin. Second pattern zinc ‘Fallschirmschützenabzeichen des Heeres’ with brass rivets, silver finished eagle and gilded wreath. Remains in lightly worn to unworn condition and shows nearly all the gold finish still on the wreath, with only light discoloration on the back. The silver eagle retained the silver finish fairly well and kept most of it. Very well preserved example of rare badge that was awarded to Heer paratroopers and special purpose units of the Wehrmacht later in the war. Top badge!
