Army paratrooper badge – C.E. Juncker, Berlin. Early aluminum second pattern Heeres fallschirmjägerschützenabzeichen with riveted eagle and gold finish on the wreath. Remains in worn condition with most of the gold finish remaining. Setup and rivets remains in perfect condition with no damage. This example was nicely denazified with carefully grinded swastika. Very rare and sought early Heer para for a fraction of the price due to the swastika missing.
Interesting little production feature here is that before finishing they removed the excessive material nest to the eagle which is often overlapping with the second pattern. Giving it just that little but extra detail on the eagle.
