Christ served with the Pi.Batl.215 early in the war and was attached to the Sturm-Regiment 195 of the 78.Volks.Gren.Div. Christ earened his Ek1 during fighting with Heeresgruppe Nordukraine in Galizien. The division was put to action near Mielec,Debica, near the Wisloka, in the area of Jaslo Pilzno and near Krossno. In 1945 Christ was wounded a further 3 times during the retreat from the red army. Christ was finally awarded the wound badge in gold on the 9th of april 1945. The unit surrendered at the end of the to the soviet forces.
The documents remain in cut condition and were probably kept on dipslay for many years. Some pieces of tape were added long ago and the document show some staining. The Ek1 document is a rare version.
Very nice late war set to a medical NCO.
