Wound badge in silver – Eugen Schmidthäussler, Pfrozheim. Mid to late war hollow zinc wound badge with crimped in setup and E.S.P. makers mark on the back. Extremely rare and so far unique silver plated variant that until now has only been seen as a black grade. Very rarely a hollow silver variant appears that was made against the regulation. This example retaining nearly all the silver plating and shows typical zinc bubbling as well as a good patina. One of the few wound badge that was made with a zinc base material. Premium piece!
