Iron cross second class – Otto Schickle, Pforzheim

Iron cross second class – Otto Schickle, Pforzheim. Early three piece construction cross with Schickle frame and zinc core. Remains in lightly patinated condition with some paint on the zinc core missing. The attachment ring has opened up and is slightly bent, but retained the original ring. Very uncommon core variant in still fairly good condition with no oxidation to the core.
