Infantry assault badge in silver – Hermann Werstein, Jena. Late war, heavy scooped out K98 Vienna design variant with soldered on setup. Remains in excellent condition with very well preserved ‘glanzverzinkt’ finish remaining on the front and back with minimal patina. features the barrel hinge with soldered pin and and round catch plate with flat wire catch. Very hard to find variant especially in this condition!
