Luftwaffe pilot badge D1 cased – Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid. Early D1 flat pilot badge with Deumer design and matching type 2 thin black case. Remains in lightly worn condition with a nice patina on both sides, always unmarked but known Deumer variant. Can be found with either the blue case or the thinner type 2 black Deumer case. Case remains in equally fine condition with minimal wear to the edges and corners. Very uncommon and highly sought after pilot badge variant.
