German cross in gold cased – MM1 Deschler & Sohn, München. Early heavy 4 rivet “Deutsches Kreuz in Gold” with PkZ maker mark 1 on the pin. Remains in near mint condition with perfect gilding on the gold wreath, no scratches or chips to the swastika and beautiful frosting on the reverse. The white backing of the swastika shows a few small patina spots and the out star burst wreath retains nearly all the black finish. Killer looking cross that comes with the matching case in equally good condition showing minimal wear on both the out en inside. Top early Deschler set!
