Wound badge in silver cased – L/17 Hermann Wernstein, Jena. Early war tombac wound badge with silver plated finish and L/17 mark on the rim. Remains in unworn condition with light patina and comes with matching L/17 marked case in equally fine condition. Shows only some light indention on the front. Extremely rare and sought after wound badge set and only the 1st time I have ever seen a marked L/17 case to match the already extremely rare wound badge.
