War merit cross without swords 1st class – Otto Schickle, Pforzheim. Early war tombac ‘Kriegsverdienstkreuz’ with Schickle design and setup. Remains in lightly worn to unworn condition with excellent silver plated finish and frosting. Very difficult to find KVK1!
