General assault badge – C.E. Juncker, Berlin. Early to mid war hollow cupal construction with second type Juncker design and wide catch plate setup with flat wire catch. Remains in lightly worn condition with a stunning worn look on the front and a good amount of the bright finish still present. The hinge and pin were replaced at some point, which very common with the fragile nature of this badge. For sure one of the rarest and most sought after GAB variant. With less than 15 examples known nearly impossible to find even with the repaired setup. Beautiful badge that probably never made it to full production due to it its fragile construction.
