Luftwaffe radio operator air gunner badge – IMME & Sohn, Berlin. Early to mid war IMME marked J3 nickel silver eagle riveted to a J3 Nickel silver wreath. Remains in lightly worn condition and shows some of fragile top frosting on the wreath with bright appearance. The eagles on the IMME are always without darkening and often bare nickel silver with a light frosting as can be seen here. Shows no real wear to the details and a very light patina on the reverse. Very uncommon IMME with J3 design Juncker parts. Top ‘Fliegerschützen’!
