Infantry assault badge in silver – Sohni Heubach & Co, Idar Oberstein. Mid to late war solid zinc ‘Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen’ with SHuCo 5-vein design and makers mark under the hinge. Remains in perfect mint and unworn condition with all of the ‘Glanzverzinkt’ finish remaining, with a great sharp look to it. Makers mark was up quite high and has the hinge soldered onto it, which was no uncommon with these. For sure one of the best quality and most detailed designs out there.
