Kriegsmarine high seas fleet badge – Schwerin, Berlin. Early war tombac ‘Flottenkriegabzeichen’ with Schwerin makers mark. Remains in lightly worn condition with most of the gilding remaining on the wreath and eagle, as well as all the blackened silver finish on the ship and reverse. Very appealing design and good quality KM badge. For sure one of the nicest Third Reich produced badges, this example being the variant die with missing bridge window and early alignment dots.
