Luftwaffe ground assault badge – M.u.K.5 , Gablonz. Mid to late war solid zinc ‘Erdkampfabzeichen’ with rivited zinc eagle and crimped in setup. Maker marked with the Metall und Kunstoff 5 mark on the reverse. Remains in excellent lightly worn to unworn condition with some of the fragile silver wash still present on the eagle and front wreath. The clouds and reverse held the finish nicely and shows a name nicely scratched on the reverse. High quality ground assault badge.
