Hoffmann was commander of the Sharnhorst battleship and Konteadmiral and commanding naval officer in the Netherlands in 1943. Very sharp photo with both his German cross in gold (20.11.41) and “Ritterkreuz”(21.03.42) in wear. Singed with his name on the bottom and Dated 31.3.42.
