Grand cross of the knight’s cross cased – Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid. Three piece construction ‘Gross Kreuz’ with S&L design. Early post war version made for the collectors market, based on the ultra rare Grand cross from Göring. Remains in perfect near mint condition with all the black finish on the core and frosting on the frame, marked with the S&L 800 stamp under the ring. Comes with large ribbon and loop matching for the cross as well as the correct larger case. Case remains in equally good condition with little to no sign of wear. Far more difficult to find than the Souval Grand cross and of better quality.
