War merit cross 1st class with swords cased – L/11 Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid. Solid tombac war merit cross with silver plated finish and polished highlights. Remains in unworn near mint condition with a few patina spots and all the polishing still on the edges. Rare set that comes with the 1st pattern LDO case that has a small sales sticker on the bottom stating a KVK was in this exact box. Very rare to link one of these first pattern cases to a KVK cross.
