Iron cross first class – L/54 Schauerte & Höhfeld, Lüdenscheid. Early war three piece construction variant with early setup and small elongated L/54 makers mark. Remains in worn condition with some of the finish worn down from the iron core. The frame shows a good brown patina nicely distributed with the beating still showing the bright finish. This is a very rare setup and mark variation that rare comes up for sale.
