Iron cross first class – Double marked L/16 – 4 S&L. Early to mid war ‘Steinhauer & Lück Lüdenscheid’ cross with L/16 makers mark under the catch and PkZ 4 code on the pin. Remains in unworn near mint example with minimal patina, still beautiful frosting and a perfect finish on the core. Very difficult to find variant in almost unupgradable condition.
