Iron cross second class – MM55 Hammer & Söhne, Geringswald. Three piece construction cross with very bright frame and semi gloss black finished core. Ring is maker marked with the PkZ code 55 in the ring for Hammer & Söhne. Frame has developed some patina around the outer edges of the inner frame, but retained a very bright appearance. Rarely seen in this bright condition.
